Mombasa

Mombasa is a city that is located on the coast of kenya. it is the countrys second largest city after Nairobi. The country has an area of 294.7 km and an elervation of 50 metres. flying there by plane would take around 12h, there is 1 airport. since 2009 there was a population of 915,101 people. The name Mombassa actually means island of war due to its invasion-filled history. According to the climate graph below pretty much all year round it is around 20 to 30 degrees celsius but the rainfall varies all year round. if i was to go to the beach in Mombasa i would go around January and Febuary because it is around 30 degrese and there is not much rainfall at all. mombasa is well know for its very nice beaches. The beaches on the coast of mombasa have very clear water and very soft sand. You can also go fishing and snorkling in the beach.
